Time to find a TV and a cocktail. Cletus is taking the week off

Buckeyes Win 24-7! The most complete game of the season. The Defense was awesome, the special teams were great, and the offense was opportunistic. Way to go JT!! Time to start thinking Rose Bowl.

Big Ten School Review
The co-founders of CletusFest have attended football games at every Big Ten Stadium. Although each school visit includes great memories, we thought it would be helpful for Buckeye fans to know what they were getting themselves into when considering a Big Ten road trip. Our Rating is based on a Five Point Scale (5 being best):

Overall Rating: *****

Beaver Stadium
Probably the loudest stadium in the Big Ten. The Nittany Lion fans love Papa Joe, and the annoying lion roar whips the crowd into a frenzy throughout the game. In most stadiums, the Buckeye fans make their presence known. At Happy Valley, those cheers are drowned out. A definite rival to Ohio Stadium.

Fans
Penn State includes some of the nicest, most welcoming fans we have encountered. They know football, they enjoy meeting new people, and were very helpful to us during our stay.

Tailgating/Parking
There is more than adequate parking around the stadium. Right next to the football stadium is the Bryce Jordan Center, which provides the most parking. Tailgating is very traditional at Penn State. No outlandish activities, but definitely worthwhile to check out.

Nightlife/City Atmosphere
A typical college town, University Park includes a strip of clubs and restaurants right next to campus. We definitely recommend checking out College Avenue. There are plenty of clubs to choose from, and some excellent after-bar pizza choices.
